Basic Recessive Inheritance
In Sugar gliders, Leucistic, Cremino, Albino, & pure Platinum are recessive traits. In order to express the color, a glider must have 2 copies of the gene. Grey gliders that have one copy of a recessive gene are carriers or 100% hets. Het is short for Heterozygous(meaning they have one copy of the Standard Gene & one copy of the recessive color gene). The % Het we list offspring refers the Probability, or "Chance" that a glider is in fact a carrier. If a grey glider produces a colored joey, it's lineage should be updated to 100% Het Proven.
